  It was an end of life wish that when my mother passed away, she wanted to be taken to Powers because they had handled her mother's funeral beautifully. I was surprised to find that though they are a Christian (from my understanding) funeral home, they really took great care to suit the wishes of my semi-religious mother and my other non religious family as well. At no point did we feel like we were forced into buying anything expensive or having an extravagant service, and Mr. Thulin did a great job respecting all of our needs and wishes. They kept in prompt contact throughout the process, and made the legal side of things very easy so as to be able to focus on and grieve through the tragedy at hand, instead of legal headache. Some weeks later I got a handwritten note of gratitude from the Powers staff for choosing their funeral home a second time, and condolences for the loss of my mother. Everyone was sweet as a peach, I couldn't recommend this funeral home enough if you're looking for end of life services.
